Our mission is to provide food assistance and support to those in need in our community. We believe that no one should go hungry and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

Founded in 1977 by the Back Mountain Ministerium, the Back Mountain Food Pantry has been serving the community for over 45 years. What started as a small pantry in the basement of the Kingston Township Municipal Building, now occupies the basement of the Trucksville United Methodist Church administration building. Founded in 1977 by the Back Mountain Ministerium, the Back Mountain Food Pantry has been serving the community for over 45 years. What started as a small pantry in the basement of the Kingston Township Municipal Building, now occupies the basement of the Trucksville United Methodist Church administration building. The Back Mountain Food Pantry serves residents of the Dallas and Lake-Lehman School Districts. and has grown to become a leading food source in the area, serving over 1,200 families each year.

We offer weekly food distributions to help those in need and we are committed to feeding the families of the Back Mountain.
During the summer months we offer "No Hungry Tummies" program, as a supplemental source of nutrition to feed children aged 6-16 years of age.
During Thanksgiving and Easter we offer holiday food baskets to families in need.

The pantry office is open for deliveries and donations on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 am - 12:00pm.
Food pantry applications and distributions take place on Fridays only.
